Avis Budget Group's compensation practices are designed to support the Company's strategic business plans, reward excellence on the job and provide competitive salaries to our employees. Salary increases are not automatic, but must be earned, and are based primarily on each employee's performance. Consistency in salary determination is important to ensure equity, facilitate transfers and employee development, and manage compensation costs. Our 401(k) Plan helps you build financial security for retirement. Eligible employees who receive a company match are immediately vested and enjoy the benefit of having Avis Budget contribute to their financial future. Participating employees can contribute both pre-tax and post-tax funds in order to reach their fiscal goals.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan

The Avis Budget Group, Inc. Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) lets you share in the Company's future in a very special way. It provides you with the unique opportunity to regularly and conveniently purchase shares of Avis Budget Group common stock at a discount. Employees receive a 5% discount on each stock purchase, and pay no commissions or brokerage fees when shares are purchased. That means every dollar contributed is invested in Avis Budget Group common stock. In addition, the Company also pays all administrative fees. Our Company's success is ultimately driven by our individual hard work and dedication, as well as that of our colleagues. The ESPP provides employees with the opportunity to share in our achievements in two ways - as a shareholder and as an employee.
